2025 Light and Legacy Award

When your awards are more beautiful than your artwork, you know you are inspired, and inspiring. The professionals at Keep Pinellas Beautiful were a joy to work with every day I was there. Thank you for the biggest surprise of my 2025.

"Snails in Plaids"

A growing series of bright tactile multi-media pieces featuring watercolor Helix snails in plaid treated shells. Placed among natural elements in playful expressions with a dab of mid-mod structure for flirty perspective fun.

"Bay to Gulf"

A three-wall interior mural project at the offices of Keep Pinellas Beautiful in St Petersburg, Florida. The goal was to present the entire purpose and drive for KPB. Pinellas County environmental care, education, volunteer efforts and cleaning. A rosea spoonbill, the non-profit's logo, is featured to finish the celebration of success and beautification of our county, by the volunteers and team of KPB. Designed, painted, and gifted to the organization by Kathy LaFollett November 24, 2025.

"Coral and Stone"

A color rich 24-inch by 48-inch linen canvas painting of live corals and reef life under bright blue cloudy skies and surging saltwater waves. Signature elements of saltwater bubblies and glitters set my style tone.
